About the role

As a DevOps Engineer at HerculesAI, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and reliable infrastructure to support our AI-driven solutions. You’ll work closely with engineering, product, and IT teams to optimize cloud environments, automate deployment processes, and ensure seamless delivery of our products—both in the cloud and on-premises.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong DevOps background, hands-on cloud engineering experience, and a passion for automation, security, and efficiency in a fast-paced startup environment.

What you'll do

Infrastructure & Cloud Management

• Design, deploy, and manage cloud-based and on-premises infrastructure using AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Optimize performance, security, and cost-efficiency of cloud environments.

CI/CD & Automation

• Develop, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines to streamline the software development lifecycle.
• Automate deployment, configuration, and monitoring processes to enhance reliability and scalability.
• Ensure seamless integration between cloud and on-premises deployments.

Security & Monitoring

• Implement robust monitoring, logging, and alerting systems for performance tracking and incident response.
• Enforce security best practices for cloud and on-prem infrastructure.

Collaboration & Support

• Work closely with Software Engineers, IT, and the Implementation Team to ensure smooth product deployments.
• Develop tools and documentation to support internal teams and customers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues.

Qualifications

Must-Have Skills

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Cloud Engineering.
• Strong expertise in AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud platforms.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar).
• Proficiency in containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
• Solid knowledge of Linux systems administration.
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with hybrid cloud and multi-cloud architectures.
• Understanding of DevOps metrics and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk).
• Knowledge of security best practices for cloud and on-prem environments.
