What you will do
- Monitor the latest developments in data science and AI, review internal and competitor content offerings, and contribute insights for ’s evolving catalog.
- Utilize technical expertise, industry knowledge, and research skills to develop high-level scopes for content.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop effective online content that adheres to pedagogical standards.
- Coach and support new authors through the course development process and provide pedagogical feedback.
- Create learning content, including video scripts, instructional text, hands-on exercises, quizzes, and capstone projects.
- Utilize data and learner feedback to support content effectiveness and student outcomes.
Requirements
- Deep hands-on expertise in data science, including data wrangling, exploratory data analysis, data visualization, statistical modeling, and machine learning.
- Proficiency with Python and common data science libraries such as NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn, matplotlib, and seaborn.
- Experience working with data via SQL, as well as exposure to big data tools such as Spark or distributed databases.
- Familiarity with descriptive and inferential statistics, A/B testing, and performance metrics.
- 2+ years experience in curriculum development and/or teaching technical learning content
- 2+ years of industry experience in a data science or analytics-focused role.
- Excellent English verbal, written, and copy-editing skills

- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams, managing different priorities and personalities to reach common goals.
- Understanding of online learning and experience developing asynchronous online course content
- Demonstrated history of learning and applying new technical skills
