Location: While this is a remote role, applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States of America on a full-time basis. hirify.global will hire a qualified candidate for this remote based position anywhere in the US with the exception of the following states: Alaska, Connecticut, Delaware, Hawaii, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Vermont, Washington D.C., West Virginia, Wisconsin, Wyoming.

Salary: $110,000

What you will do

• Monitor the latest developments in data science and AI, review internal and competitor content offerings, and contribute insights for hirify.global’s evolving catalog.
• Utilize technical expertise, industry knowledge, and research skills to develop high-level scopes for hirify.global content.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop effective online content that adheres to pedagogical standards.
• Coach and support new authors through the course development process and provide pedagogical feedback.
• Create learning content, including video scripts, instructional text, hands-on exercises, quizzes, and capstone projects.
• Utilize data and learner feedback to support content effectiveness and student outcomes.

Requirements

• Deep hands-on expertise in data science, including data wrangling, exploratory data analysis, data visualization, statistical modeling, and machine learning.
• Proficiency with Python and common data science libraries such as NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn, matplotlib, and seaborn.
• Experience working with data via SQL, as well as exposure to big data tools such as Spark or distributed databases.
• Familiarity with descriptive and inferential statistics, A/B testing, and performance metrics.
• 2+ years experience in curriculum development and/or teaching technical learning content
• 2+ years of industry experience in a data science or analytics-focused role.
• Excellent English verbal, written, and copy-editing skills

• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams, managing different priorities and personalities to reach common goals.
• Understanding of online learning and experience developing asynchronous online course content
• Demonstrated history of learning and applying new technical skills
