What you will do

• Lead and inspire the engineering organization responsible for Shopping Platform Infrastructure with a vision for scale and innovation.
• Architect and execute a roadmap to scale infrastructure systems by 10X to support massive growth in product items and user engagement.
• Collaborate closely with product, data, and business teams to align infrastructure with company-wide shopping strategy.
• Drive technical excellence in data ingestion, processing, enrichment, and storage at scale.
• Implement best practices for monitoring, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Manage managers and individual contributors fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance.

Requirements

• Must have 5+ years management experience including managing managers.
• 10+ years industry experience in scalable distributed systems.
• Proven leadership in large-scale infrastructure or platform teams, preferably in ecommerce or high-growth tech.
• Experience architecting systems to support 10X+ data growth and complexity.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Must be located within commutable distance to Zurich office for hybrid work.

• Deep expertise in shopping infrastructure, catalog management, data pipelines, and real-time data processing.
• Strong strategic thinking and ability to translate business goals into technical vision.
