Focus on strategic planning, project management, and team enablement to drive revenue growth and ensure the resilience of managed services.

What you will do

  • Partner with the Director to create the team's roadmap, balancing business growth with essential engineering initiatives.
  • Oversee the team's backlog and projects, providing timely updates to stakeholders.
  • Champion a culture of urgency and ownership to deliver impactful results, ensuring quality, security, and reliability.
  • Empower the team to address foundational and production issues, acting as "product custodians".
  • Provide clear goals and feedback to manage expectations and drive individual and team performance.
  • Foster a psychologically safe, high-trust environment that encourages curiosity and debate.

Requirements

  • A proven track record of leading diverse teams to successfully deliver software products.
  • Strong product sense to design innovative, cloud-native products.
  • Excellent communication skills in English to engage directly with customers.
  • Experience in recruiting engineering talent and building high-performing teams.
  • Experience in building and designing distributed systems in a cloud environment.
  • Strong knowledge of database fundamentals, including OLAP vs. OLTP, persistence, replication, and clustering.
