TL;DR

Applied Scientist (Deep Learning): Developing and deploying advanced deep learning vision language models to improve size and fit recommendations for millions of ecommerce customers with an accent on leveraging unique datasets and scientific research. Focus on designing, evaluating, and scaling AI models, leading initiatives from research to deployment, and collaborating across multidisciplinary teams.

Location: Hybrid with up to 60% remote, based in Europe (Germany)

What you will do/Что делать

  • Develop, evaluate, and deploy vision language models to improve size and fit advice for customers.
  • Lead bold research initiatives from development through deployment.
  • Publish research in top-tier AI and computer vision conferences and journals.
  • Mentor junior scientists and foster knowledge sharing within the science community.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, applied science leaders, and business stakeholders to deliver AI solutions.

Requirements/Требования

  • Must have a Ph.D or M.Sc. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, AI, or related field.
  • At least 2 years of research experience focused on AI in academia or industry.
  • Strong expertise in deep learning, especially vision language transformer models.
  • Proficiency in Python and PyTorch.
  • Experience with large AI models and complex experiments.
  • Publication record in top conferences such as CVPR, ICCV, NeurIPS, ICLR, ICML.
