Senior Frontend Engineer: Improving and delivering product innovations for the hirify.global platform by building adaptable web front-ends on top of scalable microservices, serving both sellers and buyers. Focus on responsiveness across desktop, tablet, and mobile screens and optimising performance through measuring and monitoring systems.

Location: Most hirify.globalans are within commuting distance of one of our offices in Amsterdam, Paris and Lisbon and enjoy the flexibility of a hybrid work model. This means that you will be in the office 2 out of 5 days (40% of your working time) to collaborate and connect with your colleagues.

What you will do(en)

  • Improve and deliver product innovations for the hirify.global platform.
  • Build adaptable web front-ends on top of scalable microservices.
  • Ensure web components work well and are responsive across devices.
  • Measure and monitor system performance to optimise product performance.
  • Use A/B experiments, backed by data analysis, to add product features and enhance user experience.

Requirements(en)

  • Proven experience collaborating with engineers and product managers in an autonomous, cross-functional team.
  • Experience designing, implementing, and deploying services with a focus on high availability, low latency, and consistency.
  • Proficiency in Web technologies: Javascript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS.
  • Familiarity with libraries like React, NextJS, Redux, CSS Modules, Tailwind, and Rails.
  • Understanding of the browser environment: HTTP/S, Critical Render Path, CORS, Caching, CDNs.
  • Knowledge of programming principles SOLID, DRY, and a good problem-solving approach.

Nice to have(en)

  • Familiarity with Node.js and experience running it in production.
