Senior IT Business Analyst

Overview

You will be supporting a key initiative focused on advancing portfolio management capabilities for financial advisors.

What you will do

• Conduct research and market analysis to develop well-informed technical requirements.
• Define API specifications, ETL requirements, and database schemas.
• Work closely with developers, testers, UX designers, and project managers.
• Maintain project documentation and manage scope creep.
• Translate technical details into business-friendly language.
• Support user acceptance testing and continuously improve processes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in custom software development
• MUST: experience in Financial domain (Banking, Insurance, Investing, Fintech, etc)
• Excellent technical writing, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong understanding of business requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation.
• Hands-on experience leading technology projects.
• Understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Basic understanding of Java/Scala, NoSQL data stores (Cassandra), and IaaS/PaaS concepts.
• Experience with API design and documentation.
