Our client is a cybersecurity company partnered with for over three years, collaborating with a team of 20+ engineers across various roles including QA, DevOps, software development, and product ownership.
Overview
Seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to build and support virtual and physical infrastructures for its industry-leading cybersecurity solutions. Will design, implement, and maintain automated pipelines, assist IT/DevOps teams, and collaborate with Product Management to ensure documentation is up to date. Must have strong experience working with Linux, Windows Server, and virtualization platforms while demonstrating expertise in automation, infrastructure-as-code, and CI/CD pipelines.
What you will do
- Build and support virtual and physical technical infrastructures to support our industry leading cybersecurity solutions
- Design, implement and maintain automated pipelines for delivering software and configuration changes
- Regularly assist IT/DevOps and Operations teams as to support our customers and monitor our infrastructure
- Collaborate with Product Management to ensure customer facing documentation is kept up to date
- Provide technical training to Customer Support operation teams
Requirements
- Experience with version control systems like git and understanding of agile development methodologies
- Proven track record of working independently as well as in a team
- Self-motivated and self-directed
- Strong interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills with an ability to maintain strong working relationships both internally and externally across all levels in the organization
- Strong experience working with Linux in an operational/IT/DevOps capacity
- Working knowledge of Windows Server and Hyper-V
Nice to have
- Experience with git-based version control systems such as GitHub, BitBucket, GitLab, etc.
- Experience with Ansible, Puppet or similar automation tool
- Experience building, running and troubleshooting containers (Docker, podman, etc.)
- Experience implementing and maintaining build pipelines. Preferably full CI/CD
- Experience with Apache Kafka or similar message-based technologies (ZeroMQ, MSMQ, etc.) that are foundational for building applications using an event-driven distributed system architecture
