We are seeking a highly skilled Wix Website Designer & Developer to design, develop, and optimize visually stunning and high-performing websites using Wix. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing expertise in web design, UX/UI, and graphic design, including infographics, animations, and interactive elements. This role requires creative problem-solving skills, technical proficiency in Wix’s advanced capabilities, and a deep understanding of branding and user engagement.
Key Responsibilities
• Website Design & Development: Design and build high-quality, visually engaging, and responsive Wix websites that align with branding and business goals.
• Graphic & Infographic Design: Create compelling graphics, infographics, and visual assets to enhance user engagement and communication.
• Customization & Advanced Wix Features: Implement custom features using Wix Editor, Wix Velo (for coding), and third-party integrations to enhance website functionality.
• UX/UI Optimization: Ensure an intuitive, seamless, and visually appealing user experience across desktop and mobile.
• SEO & Performance Optimization: Implement best practices for SEO, speed optimization, and accessibility to improve search rankings and user experience.
• Content Management & Updates: Manage content updates, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the website remains up-to-date and fully functional.
• Collaboration & Stakeholder Communication: Work closely with marketing, content, and development teams to ensure design consistency and business alignment.
• Testing & Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing to ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.
Qualifications & Experience
• Proven Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in web design and development, with a strong portfolio of Wix-based websites.
• Graphic Design Expertise: Proficiency in tools like Figma for designing custom visuals and infographics.
• Wix Proficiency: Advanced experience using Wix Editor, Wix Studio, and Wix Velo for custom development.
• SEO & Performance Optimization: Knowledge of on-page SEO, site speed optimization, and accessibility best practices.
• UX/UI Best Practices: Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and mobile responsiveness.
• Coding Skills (Preferred): Basic proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with experience using Wix Velo (optional but a plus).
• Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience designing websites for B2B, SaaS, finance, or e-commerce industries.
• Motion graphics or animation experience (GIFs, Lottie animations, etc.).
• Understanding of branding and digital marketing principles.
