Technical Support Engineer in Cloud Infrastructure Provider
Hey!
We are 3HCloud, we provide cloud-based and data center services in the USA, Europe, and Asia. Our core services include Virtual and Dedicated Server rental, S3 Object Storage, and Colocation.
We are looking for a Tech Support Engineer proficient in English & Russian.
Responsibilities
Handling customer tickets
Supporting OpenStack-based cloud infrastructure services
Installation, configuration, and maintenance of Linux servers
Assisting the company's clients with server, network, and hypervisor configurations
System monitoring and response to problems
Performing data-center routine maintenance
Requirements
3 years of experience as a Network/Tech Support/DevOps/IT Infrastructure Engineer
Knowledge of Linux architecture
Excellent knowledge of the TCP/IP protocols
Experience with ISP-grade networking equipment
Knowledge of server architecture
Experience with monitoring systems
Great to have:
Experience with Unix&FreeBSD-based OSes: CentOS, OPNsense, pfSense
Experience with hypervisors and their orchestration: OpenStack, Hyper-V, ESXi, VMware, KVM, QEMU, Proxmox
Knowledge of dynamic routing protocols: OSPF, BGP. Experience with LAG (LACP). VxLAN
Experience with cloud providers: AWS, Google Cloud, Yandex Cloud, Azure, Digital
Soft Skills:
English (B2 or higher) – strong verbal and written communication
Russian (B2 or higher) – strong verbal and written communication
Empathy – deep care about solving customer issues
Good communication skills – clear, structured speech and writing
Attention to detail & reliability – follows processes and maintains up-to-date knowledge bases
Job Conditions
Salary: discussed during the interview with successful candidates (from 5000$).
