‼️‼️🆕 Junior System Administrator (Linux) | Project-Based
Hi everyone! We’re looking for a Junior System Administrator to help set up and configure a video hosting platformon a server. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in Linux system administration while working on an international project.
Responsibilities
Deploy a VPS, connect a domain, and install the necessary server software:
• Linux (Ubuntu/Debian)
• Web server (Nginx)
• Database (PostgreSQL) (prior knowledge is a plus)
• PeerTube (video hosting software)
Additionally, configure federation to enable automatic video synchronization with another server.
Skills & Knowledge
• Comfortable working with Linux (Ubuntu/Debian) and the terminal
• Experience with VPS, SSH, remote server management
• Basic understanding of DNS, SSL certificates (Let's Encrypt), and web servers
• Ability to read technical documentation in English (intermediate level)
