We are seeking a Back-end Java engineer to join Synder team. Our product has tremendous traction, assisting people to manage their finances better, smarter, and faster.
What You Will Do:
- implement well-designed, testable, and reliable REST APIs;
- develop new and refactor existing functionality to achieve business requirements;
- contribute to technical architecture discussions and documentation;
- collaborate with the product team and other stakeholders.
What You Need:
- 5-8 years of experience in Java development;
- Strong Java skills. Groovy and Kotlin knowledge is a plus;
- Proficiency in Spring Boot/Grails for REST API development;
- Experience with Hibernate, MySQL, and MongoDB;
- Familiarity with AWS, Amazon SQS, Git;
- Knowledge of REST API design, CI, and TDD/BDD;
- Strong problem-solving and debugging abilities, product thinking;
- Effective collaboration in cross-functional teams;
- Commitment to writing clean and efficient code;
- Native Belarusian/Russian/Ukrainian, English - B2.
