Job Description:
You’ll be responsible for designing and implementing software solutions, working on ETL workflows, creating APIs, and building tools that support data analysts and cybersecurity initiatives.
What You'll Be Doing:
• Developing ETL workflows to keep our data fresh.
• Building HTTP APIs for both customer-facing and internal use.
• Developing tools to support data analysts and cybersecurity efforts.
• Writing unit and integration tests.
• Participating in sprint planning and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet business needs.
• Reviewing software designs, pull requests, and other technical deliverables, and providing valuable feedback.
What We’re Looking For:
• Strong expertise in Python.
• A passion for writing clean, high-quality code.
• Deep understanding of:
o Maintainable and scalable software architecture.
o Object-oriented programming and design patterns.
o Automated testing (unit, integration, smoke).
o Data schema design and maintenance.
• Experience with observability tools (OpenTelemetry, Grafana, Prometheus, Tempo, Loki).
• Familiarity with microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of Git.
• Task orchestration experience (Airflow or similar).
• Comfortable with command-line tools.
• Professional-level English.
• Ability to learn quickly and work independently, especially when collaborating across time zones.
• Strong mentoring and code review skills.
• At least 5 years of experience.
Nice to Have:
• Strong interest in cybersecurity.
• Experience with:
o Continuous integration and deployment (GitHub Actions, Helm).
o Containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
o Cloud services (AWS).
o Infrastructure as code (Ansible, Terraform, Chef).
o Graph databases (ArangoDB, Neo4J).
o User experience and interface design.
