TL;DR

Director / Senior Director, Healthcare Product Line Leader (Insurance): Leading and implementing strategy for the retail and wholesale healthcare portfolio with an accent on underwriting standards, pricing, and product development. Focus on achieving profitable production, managing broker relationships, and providing leadership to regional underwriting teams.

Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Alpharetta, GA (Hybrid role). US Work Authorization required; no visa sponsorship provided.

Salary: $162,800 – $259,000/year (depending on level) with 45-55% bonus potential.

What you will do

  • Lead and implement strategy for the retail and wholesale healthcare portfolio.
  • Oversee underwriting standards, appetite, pricing, and product development.
  • Collaborate with actuarial, claims, IT, and operations teams to ensure consistent product delivery.
  • Manage assigned product lines to meet revenue, profit, loss ratio, and expense targets.
  • Provide coaching and training to regional underwriting teams based on audit reviews.
  • Identify emerging market trends and opportunities for new product offerings.

Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years of underwriting experience in healthcare allied or miscellaneous facility accounts.
  • Minimum 3 years of management experience including handling referrals.
  • Undergraduate degree required.
  • Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
  • Ability to travel 25%.
  • Strong technical knowledge for writing healthcare accounts.
