Location: Must be based in New York, NY. Role requires hybrid attendance (at least four days per week in the office).

Salary: $180,000–$200,000 per year.

What you will do

• Design and build innovative trading and trading analytics platforms in collaboration with quants and traders.
• Partner with product owners to define development tasks and ensure alignment with business goals.
• Perform hands-on development, code reviews, and design test cases for complex trading solutions.
• Collaborate with enterprise architecture, infrastructure, and security teams to implement best practices.
• Influence system design to ensure loose coupling and alignment with the firm's future-state platform.
• Build and maintain SDLC pipelines to support efficient delivery and deployment.

Requirements

• 15+ years of Java full stack development experience, including 8+ years as a technical architect.
• Strong expertise in design patterns, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
• Experience with DevSecOps, API implementation, and relevant support tools (Git, Jenkins, Docker).
• Must be based in New York, NY and able to comply with the four-day-per-week office attendance policy.
• Deep understanding of the investment and asset management domain (Equities, Fixed Income, Alternatives).
• Experience with Swing frameworks and test-driven development methodologies.

Nice to have

• Experience with trading workflows and Execution Management Systems (EMS) like Portware.
• Test automation experience using Pytest or UnitTest frameworks.
