What you will do

• Provide front-line technical support for Palladium and Protium platforms during pre- and post-sales processes.
• Develop customer-specific emulation and prototyping requirements, including advanced acceleration components.
• Collaborate with R&D to secure design wins by providing in-depth technical assistance for verification flows.
• Create and conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations for industry-leading customers.
• Write technical product literature, application notes, and articles to support methodology adoption.
• Assume technical leadership roles within the North America Verification Field Applications Engineering team.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States
• 5+ years of industry experience in hardware acceleration, in-circuit emulation, or FPGA prototyping.
• MS or PhD degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong RTL and testbench debug skills with proficiency in SystemVerilog, VHDL, Verilog, and C/C++/SystemC.
• Experience in synthesizable coding styles and scripting languages such as Perl, Python, or TCL.
• Ability to interact effectively with external customers and internal R&D teams.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of FPGA development flows (Xilinx/Altera) from RTL to bitstream.
• Hands-on experience with lab bring-up, debug, and instrumentation.
• Understanding of SoC architecture, embedded software development, and HW/SW co-design.
• Familiarity with protocols like JTAG, UART, PCIe, AMBA, DDR, and CHI.
