What you will do

• Lead the design and delivery of new features for the mortgage task platform.
• Develop and maintain scalable APIs and services using Python, Node.js, and Go.
• Build and optimize web interfaces using React, TypeScript, and GraphQL.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve system architecture and performance.
• Mentor junior engineers and advocate for high standards in code quality and testing.
• Participate in code reviews and facilitate technical discussions across the organization.

Requirements

• Must be based in the USA (50 states with limited exceptions).
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in React, TypeScript, GraphQL, Python, Node.js, and Go.
• Experience with both relational and non-relational database strategies.
• Proven track record as a technical leader with impact beyond immediate team.
• Strong understanding of systems design, testing, and maintainability.

Nice to have

• Experience with strongly typed languages like Go or TypeScript.
• Experience scaling relational databases such as Aurora Postgres.
