Salary: $134,400–$192,000 USD

What you will do
- Lead the data engineering strategy, architecture roadmap, and technical standards.
- Oversee the design of the enterprise data ecosystem using Data Vault and Data Mesh principles.
- Provide technical leadership for data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and Snowflake architecture.
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing data engineering team.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to enable BI reporting and self-service analytics.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and lead proof-of-concepts for AI/ML enablement.
Requirements
- Must be based in the United States
- 8+ years of progressive experience in data engineering or architecture.
- 5+ years of leadership experience managing data engineering teams.
- Extensive experience with Snowflake and cloud-based data solutions.
- Deep understanding of Data Vault, dimensional modeling, and Data Mesh concepts.
- Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools like Matillion.
- Strong knowledge of SQL Server, Cosmos DB, and BI platforms like Power BI.
Nice to have
- Experience with Python, Spark, or other data processing frameworks.
- Knowledge of CI/CD practices and DevOps for data pipelines.
- Familiarity with AI/ML tooling and real-time streaming architectures.
- Background in the insurance, financial services, or real estate industries.
