What you will do

  • Investigate, analyze, and settle primary and excess professional liability claims.
  • Determine insurance coverage and communicate positions to policyholders and stakeholders.
  • Manage litigation filed nationwide, including directing defense counsel and controlling costs.
  • Collaborate with underwriting and claims management to address adverse case developments.
  • Maintain accurate records and adhere to internal reporting and procedural guidelines.
  • Participate in agent-related functions and contribute to departmental initiatives.

Requirements

  • US Work Authorization required (no visa sponsorship provided).
  • College degree or equivalent professional designation and relevant experience.
  • Proven ability to manage litigation, set loss reserves, and evaluate settlement values.
  • Strong analytical skills for determining contractual obligations and coverage.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills for conveying complex issues.
  • Ability to self-manage a high-volume caseload and work collaboratively in a team.
