Principal Business Architect (Fintech): Leading the strategic application of business architecture to shape transformation programs and align architecture with organizational goals with an accent on enterprise-level collaboration and strategic alignment. Focus on defining architectural strategies, mentoring talent, and driving innovation in architectural methodologies within the financial services domain.

Location: Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire. Must spend at least four full days each week working in an hirify.global office.

What you will do

• Define and evolve the enterprise business architecture strategy.
• Lead business architecture efforts for large-scale transformation programs.
• Mentor and develop business architecture talent within the organization.
• Establish governance structures and ensure compliance with architectural standards.
• Advise senior leadership and shape strategic partnerships.
• Drive innovation in problem-solving and architectural methodologies.

Requirements

• Extensive experience as a Business Architect, preferably within financial services firms.
• Proficiency in enterprise architecture tooling (Ardoq preferred) and modelling techniques (ArchiMate).
• Deep understanding of Operating Models, strategic planning, and organizational design.
• Advanced capability in business capability management and value stream mapping.
• TOGAF Practitioner certification and working towards CBA Level 1.
• Must be based in or able to commute to the Henley-on-Thames office for at least 4 days per week.
