TL;DR

Retirement Plan Administrator (Finance): Providing client service and administrative support for defined contribution retirement plans with an accent on payroll file resolution and trust accounting reconciliation. Focus on managing high-volume inbound calls, performing complex plan testing, and ensuring strict compliance with regulatory standards.

Location: Must be based in the USA and available to work 8am–5pm Eastern Time.

Salary: $20.50 – $23/HR

What you will do

  • Handle inbound payroll calls and resolve complex file complications or service issues.
  • Process plan transactions including contributions, loans, withdrawals, and earnings allocations.
  • Perform and analyze discrimination testing and plan design assessments.
  • Reconcile trust accounting and recordkeeping systems through daily balancing and adjustment analysis.
  • Coordinate omnibus fund purchases and sales with third-party providers.
  • Produce and format client reports, including valuation statements and tax compliance forms.

Requirements

  • Must be based in the USA and able to work 8am–5pm Eastern Time.
  • Call center or phone-based customer service experience.
  • Basic accounting knowledge.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to manage high-pressure environments and call volumes effectively.

Nice to have

  • Experience with retirement or defined contribution plans.
  • Background in providing administrative support to complex plan clients.
