What you will do

• Design and develop scalable backend systems and microservices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, DevOps, and QA.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality.
• Optimize system performance and ensure overall reliability.
• Implement test-driven development (TDD) practices.
• Contribute to high-level architectural decisions and technical strategy.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Software Engineering experience.
• Expertise in Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, and Java 17 or higher.
• Experience designing and building microservices (must-have).
• Experience with AWS or other cloud technology (must-have).
• Hands-on experience with relational databases, specifically PostgreSQL.
• Based in Mexico to support a hybrid work model.

Nice to have

• Experience with monitoring tools like New Relic.
