What you will do

• Underwrite complex Inland Marine new business and renewals for the Northeast Region.
• Analyze loss data and collaborate with actuaries to determine accurate rates and classifications.
• Cultivate and strengthen relationships with retail and wholesale brokers.
• Present at underwriting meetings with senior executives and prospective insureds.
• Provide guidance on policy reviews, ratings, and large risk strategies.
• Mentor and develop less experienced underwriters to foster team growth.

Requirements

• 8+ years of complex retail and wholesale Inland Marine underwriting experience.
• US Work Authorization required (no visa sponsorship provided).
• Expert knowledge of AAIS Inland Marine and COP forms.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
