What you will do

• Design and develop large-scale data processing applications using Apache Spark.
• Build and maintain robust RESTful APIs using Spring Boot.
• Deploy and manage containerized workloads in cloud-native environments (GCP/AWS).
• Debug data quality issues and optimize system performance.
• Participate in on-call rotations to support production systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience as a Software Engineer.
• Hands-on experience building REST APIs with Spring Boot.
• Proficiency in batch or streaming data processing practices.
• Experience working in AWS or GCP cloud environments.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows.
• Must be able to work from the London office 2 days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience with Apache Spark.
