What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain core trading systems within a cross-functional team.
• Deliver features across OTC trading, Share Dealing, and institutional trading lines.
• Build low-latency, high-throughput distributed systems using asynchronous event-driven architecture.
• Optimize systems for robustness and 24/7 performance.
• Apply modern engineering practices including pair programming, TDD, BDD, and CI/CD.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in core Java development.
• Strong background in software, systems, and API design.
• Experience with performance testing and optimization of distributed systems.
• Proven experience engineering financial or trading systems.
• Proficiency with messaging technologies such as AMQ or Kafka.
• Must be able to work from the London office 3 days per week.
