TL;DR

Personal Lines Account Manager: Service existing personal lines insurance clients and develop new client relationships with an accent on renewals, endorsements, and accurate policy coverage guidance. Location: Williston, VT

Salary: $50,000–$60,000 per year

What you will do

  • Build strong client relationships to maintain existing business and acquire new accounts through prompt, accurate, courteous service.
  • Process new business and renewals, including endorsement requests, proofs of insurance, and policy/endorsement reviews for accuracy and relevance.
  • Correspond with insurance companies and clients to update, obtain, or verify information needed for account servicing.
  • Answer client questions about insurance coverages and needs, and respond to underwriting questions about client accounts.
  • Assist with claims processing when applicable and support marketing activities when applicable.
  • Stay current on new coverages and products, and pursue cross-sell opportunities during client interactions.

Requirements

  • Current Property and Casualty Insurance License is preferred (hirify.global may assist with licensing for the right applicant).
  • High school diploma plus two years of college or two years of insurance industry experience is preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams).
  • Strong confidentiality and attention to detail.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to understand and analyze insurance coverages, forms, and policies.
