SW Engineer II (Java/GCP)

What you will do

• Develop cloud-native applications using Java and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.
• Design, implement, and document software changes to meet urgent customer requirements.
• Debug and fix issues within Java applications and manage stack deployment on GCP.
• Ensure seamless interoperability with third-party products, operating systems, and existing software.
• Collaborate within an Agile environment applying BDD, ATDD, and TDD principles.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in systems analysis or development.
• Experience with containers (Docker, Kubernetes) across cloud technologies.
• Proficiency with GCP services (Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud SQL, Bigtable).
• Experience using Terraform for IaC, GitHub CI/CD tooling, and GCP Cloud Build.
• Must be based in or able to work from the Atlanta, GA office (eligible for part-time telecommuting).
