What you will do

• Analyze risk profiles of prospects using various information sources and third-party underwriting output.
• Advise PEOs on the best pricing options, including discounting and benefits-neutral pricing.
• Utilize specialized underwriting tools to manage output and supply recommendations via a peer-review process.
• Act as a liaison between PEO benefits contacts, internal consultants, and third-party medical-risk underwriters.
• Track and report pricing decisions to management to evaluate the effectiveness of the sales process.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• 3-5 years of experience underwriting medical risk in the small-group health or PEO market.
• Working knowledge of the Affordable Care Act (ACA).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Strong business communication skills and high attention to detail.
