What you will do

• Underwrite new and renewal business for financial institutions, including asset managers, RIAs, private equity, and fintech.
• Review and analyze underwriting risks to ensure profitability according to established guidelines.
• Manage existing renewal books and implement corrective measures to meet profit expectations.
• Collaborate with regional managers and product line leaders on account strategy and operational improvements.
• Build and maintain quality relationships with key producers and monitor producer base profitability.
• Analyze competitor pricing and forms to effectively market products within the competitive landscape.

Requirements

• Must have valid US Work Authorization; no visa sponsorship provided now or in the future.
• 1+ year of Financial Institution underwriting experience.
• Demonstrated technical knowledge and relationship-building skills.
• Four-year college degree or progress toward insurance designations (preferred).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and underwriting systems.
