What you will do

• Maintain and optimize the reliability and performance of production environments.
• Lead the investigation and resolution of complex application, database, and infrastructure issues.
• Manage incident response, conduct root cause analysis (RCA), and lead post-incident reviews.
• Define and measure SLIs and SLOs to meet service commitments.
• Develop proactive monitoring and alerting strategies to preempt customer impact.
• Automate operational tasks using scripting and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC).

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience supporting enterprise applications, infrastructure, or cloud environments.
• Deep knowledge of Microsoft stack: Windows Server, IIS, .NET, Windows Clustering, and MSMQ.
• Strong SQL Server expertise, including performance tuning, query optimization, and Always On Availability Groups.
• Experience with Azure cloud and networking fundamentals (DNS, TCP/IP, load balancing).
• Proficiency with APM tools such as Datadog, New Relic, Azure Monitor, or Dynatrace.
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• Scripting skills in PowerShell or Python.
• Experience with Terraform, ARM Templates, or Bicep.
• Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
• Experience with Kubernetes and containerized workloads.
• Background in healthcare technology or patient care environments.
