What you will do

• Investigate, diagnose, and resolve complex performance problems across production database systems (MongoDB, OpenSearch, PostgreSQL, Cassandra).
• Perform deep-dive root cause analysis on query execution, resource consumption, and cluster behavior.
• Design and propose scalable database architectures and data models to support growth.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code using Terraform, Helm, and Kubernetes.
• Manage observability stacks, dashboards, and SLOs to maintain high availability.
• Participate in on-call rotations and drive long-term reliability improvements through post-incident reviews.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or DBA roles with production databases at scale.
• Expert-level knowledge of MongoDB, OpenSearch, or PostgreSQL internals and performance tuning.
• Proficiency in Python or Go for building automation and operational tooling.
• Deep experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or Ansible.
• Experience designing and operating CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, ArgoCD).

Nice to have

• Experience with ETL pipeline operations and data flow orchestration at scale.
• Familiarity with Kafka operations and streaming data infrastructure.
• Experience with time-series or graph databases.
