TL;DR

Business Development Manager (Sales): Driving revenue growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities for large-scale branded events with an accent on consultative sales and high-value partnership acquisition. Focus on building industry-specific knowledge, managing sales pipelines in Salesforce, and representing the company at major industry events.

Location: Must be based in or near Irving, TX, USA. The role requires in-person office attendance at least three days a week.

Salary: $80,000–$100,000 + commission.

What you will do

  • Identify and engage high-value prospects to secure new business and partnerships.
  • Apply consultative selling techniques to uncover customer needs and present tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to create effective campaigns and sales packages.
  • Represent the company at industry events and competitor shows to generate leads.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts and client interactions within Salesforce.
  • Develop pricing strategies and proposals to maximize profitability and close deals.

Requirements

  • Must be based in or able to commute to Irving, TX.
  • 5-7 years of B2B sales experience, ideally in media, sponsorship, or events.
  • Proven track record in lead generation, consultative selling, and closing high-value deals.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, specifically Salesforce.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% for client meetings and industry events.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
