What you will do

• Deliver premium technical support to assigned customers to drive design wins.
• Lead proof of concept, solution design, and demonstrations for NXP products.
• Synthesize customer and competitive insights to influence product roadmaps.
• Act as a system software architect to ensure technical teams understand software value propositions.
• Educate field sales engineers on new technologies and product features.
• Analyze customer technical objectives to enable predictive and effective sales strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in development engineering or applications support for microprocessor-based embedded systems.
• Proven experience with C, C++, and embedded firmware development.
• Strong knowledge of embedded Linux (kernel, user-space, uboot) and ARM Cortex A/M architectures.
• Familiarity with SoC hardware interfaces (Ethernet, MIPI, USB, SPI, I2C) and industrial protocols (PROFINET, EtherCAT).
• Willingness to travel up to 30% within the continental US.

Nice to have

• Hands-on knowledge of graphics and video subsystems.
• Experience with Edge AI application deployment.
• Ability to review schematics and provide design recommendations.
