What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain a data platform capable of processing petabytes of information.
• Participate in technical reviews to enhance product features and system stability.
• Improve service efficiency to support internal stakeholders and customer data needs.
• Research and implement new methods for efficient data querying and extraction.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable data pipelines and tools.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience in distributed systems.
• 5+ years of combined experience in backend, cloud, or data platform engineering.
• Solid background in Java or Scala and Python.
• Strong familiarity with the Apache Hadoop ecosystem (Spark, Kafka, Flink, Trino).
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (Postgres, Cassandra, DynamoDB).
• Proven ability to work effectively with remote teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with Go, Kubernetes, and Jenkins.
• Knowledge of Parquet, Protocol Buffers, or gRPC.
