TL;DR

Sales Compliance Analyst: Provide day-to-day compliance oversight and advisory support for Sales Practices and Business Entertainment and Workplace Gifts (BEWG) policies with an accent on monitoring, approvals, and regulatory-aligned remediation. Focus on conducting, documenting, and reporting compliance monitoring activities while supporting cross-functional projects and compliance training for sales staff.

Location: Toronto office (483 Bay Street) until approximately late 2026, then Mississauga office (3 Robert Speck Parkway). Flexible hybrid schedule. Current work authorization for Canada is required.

Salary: $68,000–$85,000 base annual range

What you will do

  • Provide ongoing compliance advisory support for Sales Practices and BEWG policies and procedures.
  • Complete daily monitoring and reporting, including escalation support for inquiries from advisor and sales teams.
  • Review and approve co-operative sales/marketing initiatives, conferences, charity, and sponsorship requests in line with regulatory and internal requirements.
  • Conduct, document, and report compliance monitoring activities; escalate issues and recommend remediation.
  • Track compliance issues and action plans through successful remediation, and identify risks, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
  • Maintain compliance training materials and support delivery of in-person and virtual training for new sales staff.

Requirements

  • Work authorization for Canada is required.
  • Minimum 2+ years of financial services experience, preferably at a mutual fund manager or dealer.
  • Strong knowledge of National Instrument 81-105 and sales practices compliance frameworks.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills; ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Post-secondary education (minimum three-year program) or equivalent experience; Canadian Securities Course (CSC) or Canadian Investment Funds Course (CIFC) preferred.
