Location: New York (Hybrid working model)
Salary: $66,300 - $75,000 base annually (quarterly sales bonus eligible)

What you will do
- Contribute to display advertising sales revenues and support expansion of the client base through consultative conversations.
- Prospect and build a pipeline using outbound calls, emails, social outreach, and event engagement.
- Sell digital and content advertising solutions across ’s scientific publications portfolio.
- Negotiate, refine, and close advertising programs while communicating market and competitive insights.
- Maintain accurate Salesforce CRM records for forecasting, reporting, and sales strategy.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure successful delivery of advertising services to customers.
Requirements
- 2+ years of sales or sales support experience with a focus on business development over account management.
- Entrepreneurial, proactive, results-oriented mindset with strong ownership.
- Comfortable initiating conversations via phone, email, and in-person; strong communication and rapport-building skills across channels.
- Data-driven, clear-thinking approach to synthesize complex issues into simple client messages.
- Strong proficiency with Salesforce and Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook) with commitment to CRM discipline.
- Ability to travel (approximately 10%).
Nice to have
- Experience with lead generation and high-volume business development.
- Solutions-based sales experience focused on articulating value rather than competing on price.
- Presentation experience in person or via video conferencing.
- Working knowledge of ZoomInfo or LinkedIn Sales Navigator (or similar prospecting tools).
