What you will do

• Manage relationships with investment consultant manager research staff and field consultants.
• Establish and execute action plans to gain product ratings and secure investor allocations.
• Collaborate with sales, relationship management, and investment teams to deliver impactful presentations.
• Provide detailed call notes and market feedback to internal business development and investment teams.
• Act as a trusted advisor to the institutional community to drive asset growth.
• Coordinate research meeting agendas and necessary presentation materials.

Requirements

• Minimum 15 years of experience in asset management.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a consultant relations role for a multi-capability institutional investment management firm.
• Proven track record of gaining product ratings, entering searches, and generating revenue through consultants.
• Extensive knowledge of the investment management industry and institutional client needs.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to deliver timely and effective feedback.
• Must be based in the eastern US.

• Advanced degree or professional designation such as a CFA.
• Established relationships with global and national firms headquartered in the eastern region.
• Experience with alts/private markets focused firms such as Aksia, StepStone, and Albourne.
