What you will do

• Build and migrate cloud-based web dashboards for processing healthcare EDI transactions.
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs in Java or NodeJS to serve healthcare records.
• Integrate with internal platforms and EDI pipelines for reliable data delivery.
• Contribute to Angular-based front-end components and API consumption.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define API contracts and ensure system performance.
• Perform unit and integration testing and participate in code reviews.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship required for government security clearance eligibility.
• Must be based in the U.S. (excluding CA, CO, IL, MN, NJ, NY, OR, WA).
• 8+ years of software development experience with a strong back-end focus.
• Proven experience with Java and/or NodeJS and Angular.
• Experience building RESTful APIs for structured healthcare data (EDI).
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (Lambda, S3, API Gateway).

Nice to have

• Experience with X.12 medical claims (837, 834, 277).
• Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and Section 508 accessibility standards.
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, ECS, EKS).
• Experience with C#/.Net for cross-team integration.
