What you will do

• Develop and maintain firmware for medical devices throughout the product lifecycle.
• Prototype new concepts and implement features for cardiac monitoring solutions.
• Perform unit testing, issue investigations, and peer code reviews.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality, reliable designs.
• Maintain documentation in accordance with strict regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience, ideally in a regulated environment (FDA preferred).
• Proficiency in C programming.
• Experience with embedded software debugging and microprocessor hardware control (I/O, UART, ADC, low power modes).
• Comfortable using lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and power supplies.
• Familiarity with version control systems like git and release methodologies.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with BLE chipsets (Nordic Semiconductor, Texas Instruments).
• Experience with real-time event frameworks like QP Framework.
• Knowledge of AT-commands for cellular LTE modules.
• Experience with low-power microcontroller design and coding standards like MISRA.
