What you will do

• Build and maintain strong client relationships to retain existing business and acquire new accounts.
• Process new and renewal business, endorsements, certificates of insurance, and review policies/endorsements for accuracy and relevance.
• Communicate professionally with clients and insurance carriers to update, obtain, or verify account information.
• Answer client questions about coverages and needs, and respond to underwriting questions about client accounts.
• Assist with claims processing when applicable and support marketing activities when applicable.
• Stay current on new coverages/products and pursue cross-sell opportunities during client interactions.

Requirements

• Property and Casualty Insurance License (current) is required.
• Background in real estate insurance risk, including multi-family, office, industrial, and retail.
• Ability to work directly with clients and underwriters.
• Strong confidentiality, attention to detail, and time management skills.
• Ability to understand and analyze insurance coverages, forms, and policies.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams).

Nice to have

• High school diploma with two years of college or two years of insurance industry experience.
• Experience working through property allocations and Statements of Values.
• Openness to AI integration in day-to-day workflows.
