Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Barcelona, Spain (Hybrid: 3 days/week in office)

What you will do

• Design and implement new features to enhance player experience.
• Develop clean, well-structured, and production-ready code.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to solve complex technical problems, including distributed systems and data challenges.
• Contribute to performance improvements, reliability enhancements, and scalable architecture.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and team learning sessions.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to commute to Barcelona, Spain.
• Recently graduated or currently in a junior software engineering role.
• Strong coding, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals, including algorithms and data structures.
• Knowledge in at least one object-oriented programming language.
• Proactive team player with a curious mindset.

Nice to have

• Interest in building large-scale gaming systems.
• Experience with Cloud platforms (preferably AWS).
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases (MySQL, DynamoDB, Redis).
• Passion for games and the gaming industry.
