What you will do

• Design scalable, high-availability application solutions using the Rocket Enterprise Portfolio.
• Lead technical strategy and implementation for mainframe-to-cloud modernization initiatives.
• Conduct proof-of-concept technology pilots and technical presentations for customers.
• Enable and align consulting partners with modernization methodologies and best practices.
• Compose technical content including whitepapers, blogs, and conference presentations.
• Provide architectural guidance to ensure successful customer engagements worldwide.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States
• Advanced Technical Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 4 to 10 years of experience leading mainframe and legacy modernization initiatives.
• Deep technical knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Kubernetes, OpenShift).
• Hands-on experience with mainframe technologies such as COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, or IMS.
• Strong understanding of DevOps toolchains and agile engineering practices.
• Fluent in written and verbal English

Nice to have

• AWS Solution Architect Professional or Microsoft Azure Solution Architect certification.
• Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) certification.
• Experience with Business Rules extraction from legacy code.
