Test Automation Specialist (DevOps): Building and evolving the DevEx platform and quality engineering practices for an enterprise-scale insurance environment with an accent on scalable automation frameworks and CI/CD integration. Focus on enabling 160+ teams to implement built-in quality through reusable components, telemetry, and hands-on coaching.

Location: Hybrid role based in Riga, Latvia (office is the primary workplace).

Salary: €3,600–€4,500 gross per month.

What you will do

• Design and implement scalable automated testing approaches for functional and non-functional requirements.
• Build and evolve automation frameworks, templates, and reusable components.
• Collaborate with tech leads to provide hands-on support for quality engineering setups.
• Develop organization-wide telemetry to generate actionable quality insights.
• Coach and enable cross-functional teams to improve their quality practices.

Requirements

• Strong experience in test automation and quality engineering.
• Hands-on experience with modern automation frameworks like Playwright or Cypress.
• Experience setting up and working with CI/CD pipelines (ADO, GitHub).
• Solid programming skills in TypeScript, C#, or Python.
• Excellent level of English for cross-border communication.
• Experience working in cross-functional and distributed teams.
