What you will do

• Provide technical leadership for the AI Platform team, guiding the design and implementation of shared AI services.
• Own the technical delivery of platform initiatives, ensuring high standards for scalability, reliability, and security.
• Design and develop backend services and APIs using Python and Java.
• Partner with product, research, and engineering teams to transition AI prototypes into production-ready capabilities.
• Enforce engineering best practices, including CI/CD, observability, and operational readiness.
• Mentor engineers through pairing, code reviews, and technical coaching.

Requirements

• Extensive professional software engineering experience.
• Demonstrated experience acting as a technical lead on complex backend or platform systems.
• Proficiency in Python and working knowledge of Java.
• Solid backend fundamentals including API design, data modeling, and distributed systems.
• Experience building or integrating AI/LLM-powered systems and modern AI frameworks like LangChain or LangGraph.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (EKS) and cloud-native development.
