What you will do

• Implement and integrate management features connecting the database with Cloud Native technologies like Prometheus, Fluentd, and Kubernetes autoscalers.
• Act as a bridge between engineering teams to manage dependencies and ensure timely delivery of interdependent projects.
• Contribute to and write technical tutorials for Cloud Native ecosystem integrations.
• Support Sales Engineers and Professional Services teams by advocating for and explaining Cloud Native technologies.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Architects to define and develop new features while serving as a subject matter expert.
• Review and contribute to projects outside the immediate team to promote Cloud Native best practices.

Requirements

• Must be based in Manchester, UK
• Demonstrable experience working with Kubernetes
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages (Golang and Python preferred)
• Strong Unix/Linux administration skills
• Experience with build automation processes such as Jenkins or Github Actions
• Passion for learning new technologies and automating manual tasks

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud deployment processes (Terraform, Cloud Formation, ARM Templates, GCP Cloud Deployment Scripts)
• Experience working with distributed teams across time zones
• Active presence on GitHub or similar platforms
