What you will do

• Lead project initiation from a technical architecture perspective, focusing on integration patterns and data flows.
• Collaborate with product management on data modeling for complex financial objects including transactions, positions, and elections.
• Produce and maintain high-quality architecture diagrams and technical documentation for client integrations.
• Provide pre-sales technical support, including presenting architecture approaches and addressing technical queries during demos.
• Facilitate discussions on trade-offs regarding cost, performance, and scalability to ensure consistent design across projects.
• Investigate technical challenges independently and propose practical, sustainable solutions.

Requirements

• Strong background in software engineering, systems integration, and technical architecture.
• Solid understanding of data modeling, messaging/streaming architectures (Kafka), and relational databases (Postgres).
• Experience designing enterprise integration solutions within financial services or complex transactional domains.
• Hands-on experience working in Agile development environments.
• Ability to articulate architectural decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Must be able to work in a hybrid capacity in London.

• Background in capital markets, regulatory, or compliance-driven environments.
• Exposure to large-scale or multi-client platforms.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, file-based integration, and cloud hosting architectures.
