What you will do

• Develop and integrate new Linux kernel features for internal use and upstream community.
• Evaluate and integrate new CPU and BIOS stacks into Arista EOS.
• Manage bringup and qualification of CPU subsystems for hardware products.
• Debug complex system-level problems and optimize code for performance and scalability.
• Own projects from initial definition through deployment and customer interaction.

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering.
• 5+ years of professional experience with C or C++ and Python.
• Strong problem-solving and software troubleshooting skills.
• Applied understanding of software engineering principles.
• Ability to design and implement robust system-level solutions.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with Linux Kernel software development.
• Understanding of IP networking or distributed systems.
