What you will do

• Lead architecture decisions for the Internal Developer Platform and oversee broad-impact initiatives across the platform engineering team.
• Drive enterprise-wide platform architecture improvements from developer experience through production operations.
• Evaluate and select third-party products and open-source technologies for the platform landscape (orchestration, developer portals, infrastructure-as-code tooling).
• Define and promote platform engineering best practices, reference architectures, and “golden paths” across the organization.
• Run architecture reviews and consult teams on platform adoption, infrastructure patterns, and service design.
• Partner with cloud engineering, SRE, and security to align architecture goals with reliability, cost efficiency, and compliance; scale governance via ADRs and federated review boards.

Requirements

• BS or MS in Computer Science (or equivalent field).
• Extensive development and platform engineering experience as a highly technical contributor.
• Strong understanding of modern platform engineering and internal developer platforms at enterprise scale.
• Deep experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration (cluster architecture, multi-tenancy, networking, and operational patterns at scale).
• Significant experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP), including infrastructure design, managed services, cost management, and landing zone architecture.
• Experience across platform areas such as CI/CD, infrastructure as code, observability, networking, identity/security, and managed data services.
