What you will do

• Serve as the primary legal point of contact for StreetEasy and New Construction business lines.
• Support the full product development lifecycle, including design, marketing, and terms of use.
• Draft, review, and negotiate strategic commercial agreements and partnerships.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve novel legal matters related to privacy, fair housing, and compliance.
• Analyze legislative changes and develop implementation plans with government relations and product teams.
• Provide tactical legal counsel for pilot programs and key strategic initiatives.

Requirements

• 7+ years of relevant experience at a law firm or in-house legal department, preferably in tech.
• JD with active state bar admission.
• Experience with licensing, marketing, intellectual property, and commercial agreements.
• Strong aptitude for innovative problem-solving and project management.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate across departments to develop consumer-centric solutions.
