What you will do

• Lead country-level Medical Affairs strategy aligned with global objectives and therapy-area plans.
• Provide strategic medical input for product launches, lifecycle management, and evidence generation.
• Lead, coach, and develop the Country Medical Affairs team, including operating models, SOPs, succession planning, and performance management.
• Establish and maintain scientific partnerships with KOLs, medical societies, and healthcare stakeholders; lead medical communications and disease state awareness.
• Drive medical governance, compliance, and ethics, including training, audits, investigations, and corrective/preventive actions.
• Collaborate with Commercial, Regulatory Affairs, and Market Access; review and approve promotional and non-promotional materials while maintaining separation of medical and commercial activities.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of relevant clinical and/or Medical Affairs experience in pharma or biotech.
• Proven leadership experience at local, regional, and/or global Medical Affairs level.
• Demonstrated success developing and executing medical strategies and plans.
• Strong experience in Key External Expert (KOL/KEE) engagement and external scientific leadership.
• Ability to translate complex scientific data into actionable medical strategies and operational plans.
• Experience working in matrixed, cross-functional organizations across multiple countries (preferred).
